because it's easy to get wrong and then you're looking at an expensive rebuild. ask kurt

Marc's quote
This is our 415 ci engine with an anonymous owner. It develops 673 crankshaft hp and 801 hp with the nitrous boost. I don't recommend nitrous boosting. We did this at the request of the owner.
May run great for a while but may have a short fuse

NOS if done right can be VERY safe, I have had cars that I have sprayed 100's of BOTTLES of NOS threw and never had a problem.

I prefer forced induction only because the power is there all the time not only when the bottle is full. But NOS at least upfront is much cheaper, but after yrs of filling the bottle it can become more expensive.

There is one reason and only one reason. Speed,
What is the fastest recorded quarter mile for a ZR-1? I dont car if it has power boosters or not.

Dennis that engine has two turbos if you look very closely at the right side of the engine photo you can see the second inter-cooler and the turbo housing that feeds the right plenum. I am guessing behind the left inter-cooler there is another turbo. Either way it is bad azz.

Fast Lane's car sure was N/A. The car was at BG a few time's and I was all over that car. A lot of technology and buck's went into that ride. Only to have the LS engine's emerge in the Corvette

Back on subject. Take a look at the dyno graph for the 801 hp NOS engine......

Nice big torque jump with what looks like a 100 shot. Jumped about 200rwtq on the bottom end, Sweet.
