Maybe this will help prevent some of the thread closings on this Forum.

The application of this advice may vary a bit if it is a technical discussion but once the technical merit is presented.....it is over ;)

Now...do NOT argue with me on that advice :sign10:

I have asked all my questions and many go unanswered or are missunderstood but my Zs (I now have two - 90' and 91') and my wife's L98 (she was Dynamite on this Forum) are running soooo good thanks to the guys on this forum

And thanks guys/gals for all the free education...it has been a great pleasure :handshak:

I am DONE :p

I guess I have to respectfully disagree.
And that is the key, respect.

Here is my respectful rebuttal.
In the case of the ticket, sure it may be futile
however, a respectful approach may have gone
farther, maybe not but at least when you walk
away your blood pressure is normal and your kids
can see how to properly handle a situation like that.
I would respectfully say "officer, looks like a made a mistake.
I didn't see the sign. I understand you're just doing your job
and accept the consequences but know that I do apologize. "

I've gotten out of two tickets that way.

There is even a more compelling reason to present your case sometimes too such as if the car broke down or you stopped to get an injured dog
off the road.

Argue? sure but pick your battles and use respect even if at the end
you disagree.
Now, be reasonable and see it my way :dancing
