Hey guys, I am coming over from Corvetteforum because I like how much action there is here for the zr-1. Just want to introduce myself, my name is Troy and I am 22 just graduated from the University of Michigan. I love these cars and had a 91, polo green with saddle interior 2 years ago. I miss it tons and love to see the things you guys do to your cars. I have an 06 GTO that I would have a hard time giving up for another zr-1 but I am only 22 so the dream is still there.

I spend most of my time on these sites just reading and lusting over the pictures. Very rarely chime in unless I am selling something, so decided I would introduce myself. I am most interested in 53-72 and then 90 (zr-1 only)-present

The future is still bright and there are plenty of us younger guys who love these cars and the work that members like Brett do to these wonderful machines. :USFlag::USFlag:

Welcome, nice to have some young blood. Seems only us old guys know what the ZR-1 is. There was just a big discussion about how old we all here. Again, wlecome. -Steve

Welcome to the forum!
Z is tough to forget - I know - this is my second one after four years of being away (1996 to 2000).

Welcome Troy.....your post reminded me of a comment I heard at last weekends show......a father and young son (age 13 or so) approached my car and the boy said to his father..."Wow...I didn't know they made OLD ZR-1's......" http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/58powerwagon/newportshow3.jpg

I am so tempted to get rid of the GTO and join the brotherhood again. I know how most older people feel about the GTOS though and know where you guys probably stand. But someday I will be back hopefully soon

I`m sure Indiana would be nice....but move to Germany and you Z will be free: NO SPEED LIMIT!

there were speed limits on the Autobahn...heading toward Munich..
although I think they were in place for traffic control on the ring road as we approached. Actually, people were not driving all that fast. Once in a while a little knot of Fords, Mazda, BMW and the odd Benz would draft past....and the food at the 'truck stops' was awesome.
