1991-1995 Gauging interest. I should have the first set of moldings next week. This has been a long process to get them right. These will also be stronger than the factory units.

All four pieces will be priced at $399 plus shipping in the continental US.

Just trying to gauge interest.

Thanks
Brett

Fair Price but Im betting at that price point folks would rather wait until they needed them. Maybe a group registry buy price would perk some interest. Just saying... Say $300 each set but you must sell NLT 10 sets. Just an idea. GC

These are completely stock and flexible?

They are as flexible as the originals, which isn't very much. The original material is not flexible, in itself. The geometry of the part only makes them seem flexible. Long and thin.

The backside of the part will be thicker and studs will be threaded into the thicker part. No more clips. Undecided on how many sets will be manufactured at this point.

Thanks for the input. It wasn't cheap to do this project.

If it was easy, everyone would do it themselves.

I'd probably be in for a set depending on what happens with work.

Thanks for your interest. I can't post pics until I get the first set. At that time, I'll post pictures of the front and backside.

Thanks again, guys
Brett

Saw the completed small molds today. The larger molds are being worked on now.

Pics to come ASAP.

I "will" be doing a ZR1.Net group Buy (ten sets minimum). Pricing will be $285 plus shipping for the four piece set.

you should get with Keystone as a source for parts for the ZR-1

Lee, who is Keystone? I have a good friend in Tom Keen and may do something with him IF I decide to partner up.

Largest manufacturer of aftermarket parts in the world LKQ corp/Goodmark/Keystone.....just need to get your product in a database for crash parts so insurance companies know.....

You know, you might want to let hagerty ins know you make these, they track that stuff...might even ask you to make a part or two if you do custom

My mold maker is slower than I am....and that's scary! But, here is a pic of one of the 1/4 bumper molding molds in process. Hope to have the larger bumper molding mold soon.

What colors will these be molded in Brett? D

Either black or cream. They'll need painted to match.

Without Jep (VettVet) this would not have happened. His generous loan of the moldings will benefit everyone with a need for the moldings.

How much is the projected cost for these?

$399 plus shipping

I will run a Group Buy for a minimum of 10 sets. Price to be determined. It was previously suggested that the GB price should be set at $300 per set. While I appreciate the suggestion, I cannot accept that figure at this time.

It takes a lot to bring a product to fruition. Time, development, cost of development, cost of materials and manufacturing dictate the final cost. The final cost and Group Buy cost will be determined, based from these factors. Any suggestion of what that cost should be without first hand knowledge of these factors would be premature.

Might as well shut this thread down. New thread has been created.
