Was looking for a part today and rock auto has a sale on the HT2236 lifter.
$4.80 each, they have 93 in stock.
That's a very good price!

Better measure them. I bought these last year and they were the wrong height. Went w the Melling.

I have notified RockAuto that they may be selling the
wrong size part. Let's see what they say.
We may also find out who supplies them (middle man)
with the pad parts (if indeed they are bad).

By the way for some of us CF is Nazi Forum you have that on this forum.
I'm sure you do i'm just too lazy to look for it.:)
But i see Nazi Forum is bringing back babe pictures i guess there tight @ss is loosening a bit, they must have a lot of Greek members.
See what a lil KY and a few Greeks locked in a room with the moderators can do.;)

Rockauto replied with:
"Just to be sure of the listing, we checked with Federal-Mogul's technical assistance department concerning this part. They confirmed the application of this part number to the 1990 Corvette with the 5.7 liter dual overhead cam engine, i.e., the ZR-1."

The moral of the story and to not get too complicated, these HT2236 lifters work perfect on a stock engine without any modifications, correct?

Kurt a friend ordered a few he recieved them and the ones he got were stock OE specs,on the boxes they say "Made in the USA" maybe some NOS parts.
It's like what Cliff mentions depends where they were made.
But the answer to your question is yes they will work on a stock motor with stock cams.

If you bought say 48 of them you'd be good to go.
Good news.
