Some of you know my story, four years ago I purchased a high mileage '92 ZR-1 that needed some work, and through this registry I met several of you and got that car into very respectable shape and performance, partially due to Marc Haibeck. I sold that car a year ago and came upon a low mileage '95 Bright Aqua/Grey ZR-1, that has me thinking I might have it judged for NCRS.

Well, I turned the car over to Marc on September 9, 2012 to go over the car, with the idea that I might have it judged some day. The idea was to identify things that needed to be addressed. Marc had previously seen the car at his gathering at his shop earlier this year. The theme was originality.

Well, I picked the car up yesterday (Saturday) and got to drive it while I was attending my son's soccer tournament in Schaumburg, Illinois. All of the issues I asked Marc to address were done, much to my SATISFACTION and the car performed much better than it has preivously.

What I did receive, that is not included on the invoice, was the personal consultation, that speaks volumes as to the history of the car, it's care and what can be done to make it a definite show winner with NCRS.

I truly appretiate Marc's attention to detail. And I only stumbled upon him through this website, when I purchased my '92 back in 2008.

I just wanted to say thanks to Marc and all of you, who put up with my passion for "originality". My car now drives out like a true '95 ZR-1 should, okay slightly better, and all of those minor issues have been addressed.

Maybe after judging, there will be plans for the future?

The passion continues. . . . . . . . :handshak:

Don't worry Joe, there are more out there who go crazy at the site of a beautiful factory original. Me included.

That is why you buy two! (if you can find garage space; wife lets you; etc, etc:blahblah:). If you want to mod, there are plenty of great buys out there so you can "have your cake and eat it too"!!!

If you find time and like to post some pics, I would LOVE to see some pictures of your car!
