If you need directions or information call me: 443-244-1347

My back-up is ok. Need to diagnose "selective ride control" warning.

Jim,
My car is still at Reflections getting the paint chips worked on. If I get it back I will be there but it looks doubtful right now. If not, hope we can keep the special tool till next week or whenever Wazoo has time. I have the new switch.

No problem Charlie, we will hold on to the tool (or make one for WAZOO inventory). The reverse switch job can be done any time. It shouldn't take too long.

You are welcome to stop by even if you don't have your Z back from its Spa Day.

Thanks Wazoo for another enjoyable day... It was great to see new ZR1 owners and future Z owners sharing our passion! A big shout out for Yun for the perfectly executed improvement and installations of my Z's new radio bezel... You shoulda been a dentist seeing how much fun you have with a Dremel.
While the weather is so fine let's plan a road rally to Harpers Ferry or Gettysburg soon!

Here are some pictures Lyndi took of the WAZOO group:

Almost everybody is standing around talking (L to R, Jim, Bert, Nelson, Yun, Kirk, Kevin):

We replaced both fuel pumps on two Z's, window outer trim, a radio bezel, a rear FX3 motor, anf the air filter on Glen's Ford GT.

It was a great day! We missed you David.

As always, I really enjoyed the day with the WAZOO fellers. Thanks to Jim for hosting and a special thanks to Yun for replacing my lower window seals for me. Now we know how to solve the chinese torture puzzle that GM calls a fuel pump assembly.... Thanks to all for their assistance. (Didn't feel quite the same without David there though...)

Sorry couldn't make it fellas, family issues this weekend.

So, the missing issues on both Jim's and Darrins's cars were bad fuel pumps? Primary or Secondary?

Can't wait Charlie, it's sitting in the garage now. I want Jim to check it out when I get tags on it to see if all is OK.
Have a great day,
Nelson

Thanks all,
I took two of my corvettes to the corvette show in Westminster today. Had a lot of people checking it out the ruby, most said they never seen a zr1 ruby. I got a trophy for my 60 that my son was driving.
Hope to see all next meeting, now after having it for a couple of days I have a lot of questions.
See you than,
Nelson
By the way the man that sold me the ruby called me today and I ended up buying his other corvette. 1970 l46 convertible monza red.

Nelson,
Plan on bringing the ruby to the Fast Cars & Freedom show in VA next Saturday. I am sure several of the WAZOO gang will be attending and we can check out the new baby. Congrats on that and the 70 as well. Glad we could help you spend $, the economy needs it.
We are just getting started......Dave will help you be a one man stimulus package!!:-D

Congratulations Nelson. I will set up a get together day soon. If you have any pressing questions just give me a call or stop by.

I am glad you had a good time at the Corvette Show at Len Stoller Chevrolet. I wish I had been there. I was at the Carroll County Home Show at the AG Center on the other side of town. In order to fill some empty space at the show, we parked our Model A truck and the 1994 ZR-1 in front of our stand. The Alaska Trip had been followed by a lot of our friends in town and they were excited to see the Alaska Z and talk about the trip.

http://i407.photobucket.com/albums/pp152/QB93Z/DSC04818.jpg

I talked to another local car guy who had been thinking about getting a Corvette and I convinced him that he should buy a ZR-1.

On Saturday, 13 Oct, I will be going to the Fast Cars and Freedom car show in Tysons Corner, VA.

I will try to be there if I get my tags back in time. Here are a couple of pictures when we picked it up. I also bought the Monza Red one, it's a 1970 350/350 100% orignial with 86k miles on it. They are cheaper when you buy two at a time.
I can shop better than my wife.
Thanks again for all your help.
Nelson

Todd Brown was talking to some people at the show about your trip.
