So excited I just had to post it.
Just acquired a 1995 ZR-1 with 9k miles. Purple/Blk interior. I have a 1953 customer that I've built cars for. I'm taking the 1995 ZR-1 in on labor trade for building a 1954 Corvette Motorama Fastback replica.
I built the molds for the Motorama Fastback a few years ago. I'm building the first car for a Corvette buddy and the second Fastback is for my Canada customer. He's a really great guy to deal with and a standup guy.
If everything works out right, I should have it within the next 8-10 weeks....or sooner!!
The car looks just like this 1995.

I was looking at one like that two years ago, but wasn't able to close the deal. Only twenty-five in that color, and one year at that.

Congrats on the Purple 95 Brett. I love my Polo Green 95 but had a purple one been available at the time I bought I would have gone for it. Special car, special color fits. Mine was a pure stock 20k mile 95 and thought about leaving it that way but.........well, who needs to hear a radio or travel with the slow traffic? -- Bob

I would rock a purple 95 in a heartbeat- probably even go out of my way to get one as I had a purple C4 before.
not a real popular color to resell (at least for the regular coupes that are more common).

Dayemn, Lee! So the original plenum will be a thing of the past? Did you get your turbos fine tuned? Wonderbar upgraded?
LGAFF

pick up the turbos tomorrow, no wonderbar install yet, have not decided if I need it.....Hoping 500hp+
That Plenum was to be used on a limited addition 1LE Camaro in the 90s....they stopped the program to develop the LT-1, This plenum apparently flows well even at 7K....1 of 4-5 known to exist. I bought it because it close to the 100+ intake look

Gotta love the window sticker in Canadian $. You think these cars were expensive in the US back in '95. The Cdn $ wasn't even close to par in '95.

Well, it was 26 units before serial #115 which was the the Purple Metallic and black ZR-1 I was looking at, that was in Colorado two years ago and it's 63 units ahead of my Bright Aqua '95 that I ended up purchasing.
You know you're killing me with this thread! [-X

Went through all of the additional stuff. Found every piece of paperwork from when the car was bought new in Canada. Even the odds and ends delivery paper hangers and such that were on the inside of the car during dealer prep. Two owners kits complete with pens and tire pressure gages. About eight old style AC Oil Filters (no bar code), new water pump in the box and both clear and painted tops.
Looks and smells new like a time capsule. This one will be around a for a long while. I really like this one. Nice car. Couldn't find a scratch on it.
My customer in Canada described this one perfectly.

OK I have always been a bit jealous of you because you have finished many 53-54's and I have been working on mine for 20 plus years and not finished but this Z addition to your toy box just turns me a bright shade of green.
What a colour combination you have. Goofy grape is what we called this colour in Viet Nam days but it is brilliant.
Congratulations Brett. What else can be said? Nothing.
