Better tighten up your skates boys & girls, the blue thunder is about to show us what she can do down the thirteentwenty.
David, don't leave anything on the table this time. Those big Michelins won't hold her so get DRs on it and let the air out.

If new injectors are installed, would be fun to try them out on the track.
Costs?

Many thanks for the information

Charlie has offered up his home for a BBQ after the drag racing. He has a home made wing sauce (cooking wings on the grill) and pulled pork BBQ that takes about 6 hours to make!

If you are free, plan to come to Charlies home after the Drag Racing....

3727 Garand Road,
Ellicott City, MD

Can't wait!

Anyone filming/photographing it? How'd everyone make out?

I would have liked to go watch you guys run, but it was just bad timing. I spent the day giving rotten fruit lead poisoning, which was a ton of fun.

Did Jim bring the 368? Any interesting Mustangs? Maybe the new GT500?

Bob

We all had a blast!

Phil ran his best time of 12.2

Rich ran 12.5

Charlie ran a 13

I ended up running a 12.9 but ran thru the end of the track in neutral!

(likely blew the clutch going from 3rd to 4th)

Billy brought his S2000 and ran in the 12's but spun a ton in 1st and 2nd

Special thanks to Charlie for hosting a BBQ @ his home!!!

Pork BBQ (slow cooked for 7hrs!!!) and homemade wing sauce was unreal!!!!

Great weather to boot!!!

Nice! Even if your clutch gave out, that's still a personal best, so congrats! And Phil is really dialing that thing in, a 12.2 at Mason Dixon is great!

The weather was gorgeous yesterday, I'm sure it was perfect for the track. Certainly for the spectators, and likely the cars too!

Had a blast and thanks for all who showed me the ropes. A 13.03 and 115.82 were my best but I promise to get into the 12's next time.

That's a great MPH for Mason-Dixon. My car with a ported intake/headers never went that fast at M-D. You should have no problem getting it down into the 12's with a better launch.

Thanks for the pictures guys, looks like it was a great time!

Track grip was the best I ever incountered at Mason-Dixon.
This time out I borrowed the fully ported plenum, injector housings and 63 mm TB prepared for the 402 stroker motor I'm building. The old gal responded with a best ever 12.201 sec ET and 117.98 mph trap speed.
Picked up two tenths and 4 MPH from the privious best. Was launching at around 3500 rpm (and bogging) with 1.90 sixtys.
Could have come out harder but wasn''t in the mood to get pushed off the track again due to a busted spindle.

Looks like a Mustang club was out there. How'd you guys do v the Stangs?
David,

Did you use DRs?
