During the engine upgrade process next month I am upgrading to HIDs. I am thinking about taking pics of the install and posting up of my impressions. However I know this mod is not for ALL the membership but a few of you might be interested?
I am going to use the high end dual stage projector kit that corvettehid.com sells for our cars Yes the almost $900 kit.
Im also planning a side project at the same time LOL you will just have to wait for that one (Think Green).
LMK what you all think or if you are remotely interested in a how to. Clearly a modders topic. GC

Just don't sink any money into producing a kit without deposits on hand first

This is something I've thought about for a while. Would be very interested in a write-up and any impressions on the upgrade. Look forward to reading it!
Thanks

Been Done:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-tech-performance/2541382-hid-install-how-to-with-pics.html
Funny Story:
I rushed to install my HID's to go to a past Mojave Mile event. In the evening Phillip (PhillipsLT5) went with me to
go get dinner. All around us are all these hi-po cars, so I'm driving VERY CAREFULLY. A Highway Patrol car
pulls out ... AND PULLS ME OVER! OH, SH**! The (female) officer comes to my window and asks for my ID.
Then she says, "you know one of your headlights is pointing straight down". Sheesh! Moral of the story:
be careful running the new wiring so it doesn't get caught and the housing moves freely!
PS: No ticket or warning

Yikes good to know. Not the same kit mine howevr mine will be a dual beam kit you can read all about it on corvettehid.com. However some of the install instructions will indeed translate. The kit I am using will have the hi beam and low beam function retained and use a LP60 projector housing with a high low solenoid.
