You know it was that neighbor who won't wave hello;). You should start a petition "save my license plate from an uptight ahole, who can't take a joke". I'll sign it.

Funny you should mention that. His name is Dick, he's the one that calls the cops when we get the guns out.

Actually, the new plate is &BERTHA. I tried to get FNFAST, they said NO. I guess they figured out FN was bad, but hadn't gotten to EFN. Now they know.

Just keep your money and get a state issued plate. I have had random combos of MLF and P00 on my last two cars. Makes me laugh and no extra fees spent.

Vanity plates in NH are only $25 extra.

Thats ridiculous....you already had the plates approved.....some uptight PC liberal driving behind you must have been "offended".....give me a efn break!........Back in the 60's my uncle owned a seafood restaurant called "The Lobster Pot", and he had the plate "POT" for short......never any problems... other than it was constantly stolen ...probably lots of them ended up hanging in some teens room back then.....doubt he could get that plate in todays world.

Glad you got to keep one of them anyway......

The neighbour you suspect of complaining have a family name of HEAD? Just a thought. Perhaps the state would let you have his full name as your number plate.

Then get a nice T-shirt that says you live next to Dic_ Head. Take photos of the number plate and you with the T-shirt on. Sell them on here and I will put in an order quickly.

There I go again letting my big mouth get me in trouble. ;)

Just change it to
1. F-FAST
2. FKNFAST
3. 1EFNFAST
4. FN FAST
5. FASTEFER
6. FASTICLE

many others.
I like #5

gonna be hard to beat EFNFAST. I had a smart personal plate once, but all it got me was speeding tickets- no chance of a warning.

You might just delay in turning it back in and see if they send you a renewal anyhow.

Hey, a good friend of mine's name is Rick Head. He used to be a partner in Turbonetics here in Simi Valley, CA, now runs Exile Turbos:

Also used to own the "Sundowner" Bonneville car. Nice guy, so don't go there. He gets teased enough. :handshak:

I got a lot of smiley faces about the plate. Cop that gave me a ticket on the way back from BG had a big grin on his face. Speaking of speeding tickets, had her up to 140 the day. Glad I didn't get caught.

I've got a personalized plate too. It's very easy to remember - even after a casual glance. But, now I'm not so sure it was such a cute idea. Someone said the perfect plate would have about 25 characters...LOL! Well, that's not entirely stooopid tho!

Maybe 5W8D1V4 (7 is limit here)
I bit hard on the brain.
But then with the new hi-res ALPR systems coming online
probably doesn't matter.

Don't know but I would assume the next level of automation integration
would be to have a judge look at the offense and give a sentence just before you're picked up.

I like my personal plate until the police officer tries to use it as leverage when handing me a speeding ticket. Long story short, got "clocked" doing 30km/h over the limited on a freeway, while buried in and among evening traffic.

While the detesting the likelihood of him acquiring a legitimate radar reading in 8 lanes of traffic, he says "ahh come on, look at your license plate!! You say you're one fast car...so you're telling me you don't speed?"

Oh boy officer, you sure convinced me...even though the end of that statement is a hook to get you to incriminate yourself on video.

Probably didn't help I was in my bright yellow Z06...I should have taken the polo green Z that night, would've just blended in with the crowds :D

No doubt very true. I was once stopped, get this, doing 65 in a 60 zone. I was in the very absolute middle of a group of 9 cars in a three wide road.
We where three wide and three deep. Again, I am the middle car.

The officer that pulled me over looked 18 and not very sure of himself. I did not give him a hard time. But after he handed me the citation I asked him why me since I was in the middle. He very timidly said I was spotted by on over head plane. I guess red is more easily tracked than other colors [-X

Might want to try this one for a plate to replace efnfast:

FT NEIGHBOR,

We all know what it means, maybe MVA won't.

If they give that one to you, park in front of Dicks house for all to see!

Whata weiner!

The September issue of "Car & Driver" has an article about public morality and how it applies to number plates in Virginia. I guess New Hampshire isn't the only state that keeps plates "family friendly"?

Steve:
On your part, giving up your plate was a small but generous contribution to keeping the "Granite State" moral and family friendly! :dancing Thanks!!!
