Saging roof head liner

Hi, I have an annoying problem. When im in the car the head liner sags and rest on top of my head. I have a hard top coupe. Has anyone had this problem before and if so did you try to repair it yourself with the self adhesive or did you save yourself the problem of taking the roof panel apart and bring it to someone to fix. :-x

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

While I've never had it happen in my vette, I have had it happen in other cars. You can try two sided tape, but for the best results (unless you are very handy and patient, a car upholstery shop will do a good job for you, and they normally are pretty reasonable in price.

Thanks for your reply. I had attempted to split the roof panel apart to get to the headliner panel but it was more trouble than anticipated and the service manual was a little vauge on the subject . So i probably will take it to an upholstry shop.

Your welcome, and try the shops that do convertible tops as well since they have a lot of fit and finish experience.
