Does anyone have, or know where to get,
the coolant surge tank cap with the 2 arrows?
It has a copper looking center that says,
"PRESSURIZED SYSTEM". I'm looking for one
new, not used. Thanks!

Thanks, Phillip.
They, and all I can find, are an RC-27
which will fit and work, but looks different.
Just being anal...

Nothing wrong with keeping with what the car had originally.
I was reminded recently why I keep things like the secondary system in place. I let a 20 something move the car for me. I turned the key off on the Full Power mode :)
Don't get me wrong. I didn't keep the original air in the tires that came from GM but many other things I just leave alone and fix when they get broke.

Thanks, Ted! It looks correct, but according to their charts
it must be the wrong size. I have asked them if they have
the correct one. We'll see!!

My hat's off to you NCRS types. Not my cup of tea,
but I now see what you are up against trying to keep
it real (original). I've been to our usual ZR-1 suppliers,
local GM dealers, gotten about 5 different GM parts numbers,
called local, referred east, mid-west, internet. What a lot
of time and effort! And I still can't find the exact cap!
I've been told, "Aw, plastic's OK," and "The one you want must
be defective, that's why they switched to this here new
and improved cap.'
Guess I'll spend my time now looking for an Oetiker clamp
tool. Phillip will pay $5 to the first one who knows what
that is, or where we would use it! JK. :dancing

This is the best I could do: A little different

Maybe this is the correct one a MY95 came with? Anybody know?

Daryll wins!

Oetiker Clamps- crimp rings that secure the
EGR tube to the exhaust manifold nipple.

and he's close to Phillip to collect!

SO you're saying Daryll is well-versed in nipple clamps? Interesting. =D>

I do not know how I got involved with the $5 but would be worth it to see GC and give him his parts that I owe him, go Cruise and have a few cold ones, Now if he had nipple clamps on that may be worth more than $5 to see that

Just be happy I didn't call it an exhaust manifold BUNG!
But I guess that would be an "inny" not an "outy"

Hey MODS:
This thread is getting WAY out of hand.
I think you need to lock it
and heavily punish the OP.
Oh, wait.... this isn't the other forum
