Absolutely FX3@490. $2,200 is still a great deal. Even when you sent your old ones in to have revalved they don't repaint and relable them for you. They work great and still look like sheet. With this you get new ones.

When you install the snap rings on the shock body for the sleeve that the perch rests on it will destroy the label. The sleeve covers most of the shock and the top cover of the shock can not be installed with the coilover hat. If you want have them repainted take the shock to the local auto paint store and have them match the paint.
I'll get some pictures for you tonight I have the 89 apart for some repairs.

Ted,
Very nice! That will save the hassle of the mounting in the rear frame. All that is needed is the opening for the actuator/top of the shock opened up correct? Something like this has been done on the bars on the white car. Much easier and no cutting on the frame in the front.

Daniel, correct. Carter helped a LOT and manufactured the rear & front relocation mounting brackets. Open up the rear shock motor frame hole to accomodate the shift and mill head of reversed lower multilink bolt.
