Anyone have one? I am thinking this could be part of the DNS with the 91 and would like to change. I see several on the bay but thought I would ask here first.

Thanks,

Daniel

They are easy enough to rebuild, either yourself or at a starter shop. Basic Denso starter, nothing exotic really.

I considered this but the brand is one I did not recognize so I didn't want to rebuild junk to begin with.

Got one.

Someone PM'ed me and I have committed to purchase his starter however CJ may need one I will let him know.

Thanks Guys

Interesting -- what brand is on your existing starter?

IDK but I will take some pictures when I get it removed from the car. Whoever installed it didn't torque to spec and when I did the first plenum pull it was loose in the valley area and could be rocked up and down. I couldn't see any visible damage to the teeth on the flywheel.

When we did the motor work on the Turq car, I bought a Delco starter for $185 on ebay. I have a couple of good used ones left over.
