Hi Al. That looks sweet! What is the OE piece made of? Steel? I always thought it was aluminum, but I obviously I was wrong. Do you think that the OE piece was intended to provide any energy absorption in a front end impact?

if your thinking of A frame support,then no because it looks like this just
gaurds the radiator and radiator fans.
