Years ago (around 2000) my daughter and I drove the Z to Bloomington for the big show. Lots of other Z's there.
One of them was a "one of one". As soon as I saw it I found the owner
to get more info on the car.
It was a C4 ZR1 (don't remember the year) YELLOW with RED interior!
He said it was ordered that way as a McDonalds promotion car. It
was very cool and unusual. I do not think he was the original owner.
Has anyone else seen this car? I have not heard anything about it since then.
Might be "Holy Grail" of ZR1 paint/interior combos?=D>

there is also one of one admiral blue with red interior ZR-1. I would prefer it to the banana car.

I have told this story before, since you asked , here it goes again. In 2,000, I bought my 90 ZR-1 from Buds Chevy in St Marys Ohio. The 95 yellow ZR-1 with red interior was on the same showroom floor for sale at the same time as mine.
When I first saw it I thought who would order such a hideous color combination, of course now I wish I would have had the foresight to buy it. At the time a 95 was way more than I could afford, I was just ecstatic to be getting a 4800 mile 90 ZR-1. The 95 was in like new condition in 2,000.

I think Paul Smith sold the yellow car to Warren Snyder in Minnesota. We caravanned with him and several others from MPLS to Spearfish in 1998. He had a 91 polo green then and bought the yellow car a few years later.

I saw the McDonald's ZR-1 about 3 or 4 years ago at a NCCC concourse event in Tinley Park IL.. I think it took third place.
The owner was from Michigan and he had all the info on the car set out.
It wasn't the best color combination I have ever seen, but it was interesting.

Yes I saw it at Bloomington Gold a few years back, I thought the owner was from Minnesota not Michigan, but don't remember the specifics.
I have pictures of it somewhere

Kevin,
As an aside to your comment, I am becoming more and more humbled by the history of the Larry Merow original 93 Green/black LSV 385 that Frank U made available to me. It is an honor to own such a unique and historic ZR-1. Thanks Frank!
If any of you have interesting info or photos of the car, I would appreciate the pass along. Frank's records and the Forum archives have been a big help in tracing some of its past. I am sure there is more. I am reading through some of the old ZR-1 Registry newsletters that I saved for articles and notes on the car. If any of you know of any specific references in the newsletters or other magazines, please let me know.
Thanks ZR-1 guys and gals...see you in Carlisle.
