The Waxer award... I think John waxed his 91 3 times on Friday night:p

The rest were side lined the "outlaw's"

Then a little fun run up to Prosser Winery's for dinner. The Z06 had to put the hurt on the Fidanza car.... only because 700+hp does not hookup that good on street rubber.
A good weekend for the first event on the east side. New friends, old friends and a good time had by those who were able to make it. I hope we are able to get the PNW Group back to a strong event again someday soon.

Looks like a great event, if we weren't hosting a bridal shower Pat and I would have been there.

What a great outing in Kennewick !
What a great bunch of people to hang with.
Just got home. I missed the Sunday morning breakfast due to my older brother's serious illness. My younger brother's wife called with the news during the the dinner Saturday and I had to scoot.
On the run I followed the Fidanza car. Saw it multiple times break loose in 4th !.
Blue cars can be quick after all :)
On the times when we went at the same time in 4th I watch him pull away fairly slowly. When I was caught in 5th it was a blur as he'd scoot away. Not bad for a mostly stock 90 with 92k miles. (secondaries working fine)
It's a shame Kevin did not follow Joe's Fidanza car in his Z06.
I was the only car with the top out so I had my hands full on some of those back country roads. And I thought I had no hat so I drove some times with the sun in my eyes. Turns out I did have a hat in the back :(

Thanks to Kevin and Linda for the superb Friday night BBQ & BS. Everything was terrific and scrumptous.
Had a great time and it was good to see you folks again. I agree with Kevin, it's time the PNW started getting back together again. We talked about Boise next year for the Vette Fest but...that's a year off.
Thanks again, great pics.

Hey, I remember when Johnny Boy was a racer not a waxer. What's happened up there?

Sorry that I could not make it out this time... Pulled into Everett and got off the ship late that Friday and really had no chance to get there. I did get to have a nice weekend with the family before leaving again on Monday, but would have liked to have goen to my first event. Maybe next time we can get my white car in there with the reds and blues to create a patriotic theme, although I'll need to do a little waxing so I don't bring the standards down.

Hi Scott,
Sorry you couldn't make it, the Admiral is certainly more important...and demanding of your attention. We had a nice time and it was great to get together after a few years. Patriotic theme would have been great. We were talking about maybe doing something in Boise next year, The local club has a Vette Fest here that is a pretty nice affair with autocross, drag racing, car show and a drive all included.
Hope you can make that, it will be a good time if we do it. I'll post up early so planning can be done.
