If you have a back up camera what did you wire the control too?

To head unit with a video input. On the AVIC Pioneer series it feeds power via the same cable. Ground and is determined in the Head Unit settings.

GC,

What do you use for iPod input? I have a AVIC in my Z also.

Bob,

I have to edit them, I can work on them Friday. My wife has some on her phone that I will get her to send me a copy.

As for the camera, I know how to wire the camera physically I need to know what you used as a trigger. I was thinking the power supply for the reverse lights.

They made an Ipod adapter interface. Can't remember the model number but it was a II Series

Did you run a new cable from the reverse lights to the head unit, I am sure the reverse trigger on the ZF6 goes threw the CCM. Anyone know what color the leed is and what plug it is in?

Yes however I don't remember the color or the rear backup light. I honestly can't remember

SHould be a light green wire, if memory serves correctly.

I have a spread sheet with every wire that is pertinent in a install like this. I am adding a few more options to make mine a little more personal.

Mute Button, Speed sensor input, antenna up down disable, remote fuse for the head unit.

I'd like to add a rear camera too...

Please let me know how hard it was to add!

Hoping Yun chimmed in as he just did his 140bh. I will call him tomorrow and see what options he added, I also wanted to see if he connected the speed sensor to his head unit as pioneer states it will add accuracy to the GPS mapping algorithm.

Without it you will be counting on dead reckoning. Yes otherwise your directional arrow will go askew.

BTW the VSS wire is the Forrest green wire with the white stripe on the 91.

Robert,

I did not add rear view camera. As for the speed sensor I think I tapped into a factory wire that triggers volume increase for the Bose unit as vehicle speed increases. What effect it had for the Pioneer unit, I don't know.
Also, connect day/night trigger wire to purple/white factory wire that connected to the Bose head unit (I think it was labled LCD diming in the shop manual). This will make the Nav screen to switch to night view when the light sensor located top/left of trip computer buttons sense low ambient light.

One more thing - after the install turn the ingnition off and the head unit stays on due to courtesy time delay. Open the door and as the unit turns off I get a pop from all speakers. From what I understand this is coused by voltage difference between grounding points being picked up by RCA line out. So, I picked up a pair of PAC Ground Loop Isolators. I am hoping to splice this in sometime this week and will report whether this was a fix or not.

I just ordered two they were 10.00 each shipped so even if this does not solve the problem it is a 20.00 investment.

That is it, Dark blue feeds power to the reverse light switch on the trans and the signal/trigger is light green. However I am looking over every wiring diagram I have and cant find anything that states the Reverse lights are wired back into the car, I will check the wiring when I get home on Friday.
