:flag:I haven't sacrificed near what others have.

20 years on Sunday. Time had passed so quickly.

Thanks GC, great post. I know I'm guilty of needing to stop every now and then to put things in perspective.

I just found out 10 minutes ago that an old friend of mine, Lt. Col Robert M. Brown MIA 11/7/1972 over North Vietnam, had his remains recovered in 1995 and was identified just this last December. Unfortunatly, his wife had passed away prior to that. I am so happy that his remains are back home on US soil!! Rest in peace Bob! :flag:

We were raised in a different era. God Bless America, Ballad of a Green Beret, Anchors Away, Star Spangle Banner, America the Beautiful and the list goes on were played loud and often. We went through the Cold War and learned to huddle under our desk in school and dispise communism.

Now politicians want us to be tolerant and to be political correct. We openly conduct business with communist countries and allow them to own our property and take american jobs, what a bunch of bull.

I have three older brothers that came home from Viet Nam and my tour in Germany was a cake walk, but we served and was proud to do it!!

My utter respect for the fallen:proud:
