I'm glad you said it first! The weather is great, but it will soon be too hot to not have a cover.

my problem is less with the weather and more with the chassis flex

This one's actually pretty tight... I do get some twist from the 18" BFG's but I'm not out at the track this way!
This one might get the top chopped as well... (Conv...)

I drove around for a couple of summers with the top off. I never had a convertible and this was the closest thing to it. I don't have any chassis flex problems. My problem is that the Texas sun can beat the hell out of you. And if you suffer from baldness your really screwed. Lol!

You are NOT kidding about that Texas sun, never been so fried as the day I drove from San Antonio to Corpus with the top down. Cruised around Corpus for a while, then drove back. Both trips the sun was to my left, damn near lost an ear it pealed so bad...:sign10:

I like having the top off when it's around the upper 70s-low 80s, at most. Unfortunately, that means that most of the spring, summer, and fall are a no-go here in FL. I'm glad to have both tops, as the glass top allows way too much heat in and is useless in the summer. The AC has a hard enough time keeping up even with the solid top in place!

So Ron, you went out and played after we left, Yah? Nice cars, nice day!!
The offer still stands. I'll drive your TT so you can drive along behind it and hear those turbos wind up!!;)

I saw Rons TT at Coreys a few years ago. I don't remember what was wrong with it. And Sanjays LPE 415 was also on the lift at that time. I think I see these guys cars more than I see them.

She was getting tuned... The guy in Vegas did a pretty good job with WOT however the drivability was not very good. Now it's much better however there's still way's to go. The aftermarket plug and play ECM project I'm working on should solve my issues...
