Man my ears are burning today!
For anyone that ordered a release bearing from us over the past 8 weeks and is for an early car 90-92 and early 93, make note that the inner plastic sleeve has to be removed BEFORE trying to install the transmission.
A little unknown fact is that GM used the same bearing for all 89-96 ZF cars, but that very same bearing in mid 1993 had a plastic sleeve inserted to reduce noise. This plastic/nylon sleeve needs to be pushed out with a flat blade screwdriver BEFORE attempting install.
I had mentioned this reference in the listing when we advertised the bearings, but didn't ref. it during shipment. I understood that anyone that ordered from us already read the post, but sadly this appears to be the case.
I'm sending the customer a samco PCV Hose kit @ NC for the trouble, along with my appology.
