Just went to O REillys and went to purchase a knock sensor....BDW S8003, Ohms at 99........per Pete that means this is not a real LT-5 sensor, anyone know which ones work?

I am running a KEMParts one from RockAuto, seems to be working fine. I did have a couple of Code 43s pop up shortly after install, but that hasn't been an ongoing issue.

Here's a piece of the puzzle...

The 90 knock sensor resistance is different from that of other years. For the 90, this is the one you need (over the counter at GM)

Knock sensor (1990 LT5):

(new GM#) 213-94

The old part number was 10456075

I'm trying to find my notes on the difference in resistances. The 90 resistance is significanty differernt. I'll post it when I find it.

Just measured my 90 KS @ 235k. Now, if someone can fill in the blank(s) for the "out years"

Lee, Jerry has them for $57.25 AC Delco. 1991-95. He has the 1990 as well.
