I have been chasing an oil leak on my 58,000 mile 90 that has gradually been getting worse. The oil pan is dry everywhere except at the front of the engine. Yesterday I removed the two chassis braces and took out both front corner pan bolts (one of which was not very tight) and put sealant on them before putting them back in. I also tightend the three smaller front bolts.

My efforts were rewaded by the leak now being worse than it was before. Is there anything else at the front of the engine I need to be looking for?
If I need to replace the pan gasket, how do you get to the 3 front bolts?

Thanks.

this cover on my bolts were loose. it's a pain to get your arm down to it but it fixed my leak.http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z224/A26B/OilPumpAcessCover.jpg

Check the path from the pressure sensor down the corner of the engine.
More importantly having a very clean engine to begin with will help with isolation. When my oil pressure gauge leaked it was very frustrating until I very carefully cleaned the engine with a pressure washer. (read, no water getting under the plenum) I stuffed plastic bags in the openings around the plenum.

Let's not forget the famous oil pressure switch on the underside of the filter housing. That one loves to leak.

And.... The infamous oil cooler lines above that at the fittings area.....

Thanks for all of the replies. At this point I am thinking it is the oil presssure switch. I can almost see it and it looks like it has been leaking for awhile.
