A couple of weeks ago I picked up a '91 ZR-1 with 19,400 miles, which BTW won't stay that way for long.

Currently I have two other C4 vettes making this one number 3; although this is my first ever ZR-1. Like most folks, always wanted one but the timing never seemed to be right.

Hands down this Z is now my favorite car that I've ever owned. Love to hear the this motor racing to 7,000RPM.

I'm the DFW area, if there are other members on this board in the area I would love to sync up.

Happy Easter.

I live in Keller, Tx just North of Ft. Worth. Only a matter of time to find some Z owners. I do have a buddy, Jim White with a 1990 model. Haven't seen him in a while.

Dude, I just moved from Grapevine, Tx to Franklin, KY. I know Jim very well and his 1990 Red ZR-1. There is a handful of guys in the D/FW area that have ZR-1's and one lives close to Jim White. Take care and, hopefully, we will see you at the The Gathering next month in Bowling Green.

Guys thank you for the warm welcome and kind words on this CR-1. It has been a joy to drive and is hands down my favorite Callaway to own.

I'm getting ready for my trip to BG next month and really need to replace the GSC tires that are on it now.

I'm looking for Goodyear GS D3 315/35 and it doesn't seem that nobody has them in stock.

Looking for other recommendations on tires.

I, and many others, are running the Nitto 555 Extreme Performance. Great tire, good price. other options include the Michelin Pilot Sport (I think), and the Vredestein Sessanta.

Placed my order for the Nitto Extreme Sports on all 4 corners. Too cheap not to try. Thanks.

I found my Goodyears at Discount TIre. They had them in a warehouse in San Jose, I beleive. They were 2 years old, so ok to use. I think they had 3 or 4 sets at that time.

Picked up my new Nitto 555 ZR Extreme Performace tires today.

Check out the comparison of the Goodyear Gaterbacks to the Goodyear GS-C and Nitto 555ZR.

Yeah, I did several times. The problem that I have is that I work in New York and it became very difficult to get over there from Las Vegas. I moved here because of retirement plans. I am only 20 minutes away from the NCM and any activity going on there.
