View Full Version : Oil Cooler Line Leaks

It finally happened (on the 1st ride of the season!), the swaged fitting on upper hose leaks where it connects to the tubing/elbow going into the cooler.
Any suggestions? Where can you get the braided stainless hoses with the preinstalled fittings etc?

I think Kurt (Limey) had some still for sale I dont think the Haibeck ones are braided

And there's also the option of having a local hydraulic shop make up a set for you, if all else fails.

Unless I am mistaken none of those are braided as requested by the OP ? :confused:

Just a little clarification here- you'll need to have a fitting or nut welded onto the oem tubing because the line crimping machine won't fit around the double line setup. With fittings welded onto the original flange, a shop can make two separate hoses easily enough that you screw on later.

I also just ordered a hose set from Jerry's Gaskets. Like the OEM look better than the braided look.
