I found them for 459.00 are they worth it or will it damage the paint from flapping in the wind.

Ive got a white one.Biggest waste of $500 Ive ever spent,it will never go back on the car.Ill sell it for $250 if anybody wants it.Its white. This place also makes one for the Callaway Areobody front bumper. This thing will rub the paint of at the front of the wheel arch on the hood where the plastic bracket rubs on the hood.Ive got one of the thin Nylon jobbers that protects the paint for what I want it for.

It only costs about 500.00 to respray the front bumper anyway.

I had one on a Trans-Am. You cannot keep them on all the time. If they get moisture under them, and they do just from moisture in the air, they ruin the paint. So you cannot use them in the rain. Personally, I would not have one on my car. They also get grit under them that can cause abrasion to the paint. I would look into the clear plastic paint protector type. However, I still have my questions as to what happens to the paint over time.

This is just going to get used for long trips, once I get to where I am going it will be removed and stored until my trip back home.
This is going on an all original 16K mile car, I dont want to have to repaint any of it if not needed.

Up until about a year ago nobody made a clear application for a C4.Ive got one of the thin Nylon jobbers I use for short trips,on-off in 5 seconds and I love the thing.
