I found this magic button below the steering column.

Now I just have to figure out what it does. If it isn't the flux capacitor I have always wanted, then I'm guessing someone has addressed a no start with this car before me.

It MAY be 1-4 shift disconnect. I remember installing one back in 91 and it looks similar.

Valet switch for aftermarket security system? SHouldn't be difficult to just trace the wires to see where they lead...

look again:p
it's red paint on one of the pedal studs.
but considering the era, an aftermarket noise maker is most likely what it is attached to.

Hopefully it is for hidden NOS under the plenum.

Thats the torch red Led option. Yeah thats the ticket.
No kidding when I first picked up my car from the PO there were three differnet LEDS drilled in the radio surround. Every one abandoned.

I have seen one of these in a Ren and Stimpy cartoon episode. In the episode, it is the history eraser button. Press it only if you dare!

It's gotta be the passenger ejection button.

I have one of these as well. The PO was no help in identifying the use and he owned the car for 14 yrs before me. I have pressed it, trying to figure out what it was for but it did nothing. I have not traced the wires down yet. Mine has a Viper alarm and wonder if its some sort of bypass or a momentary switch to bypass the clutch safety switch. Ill post up if I figure it out.
