That's allot of hp. I'll bet it doesn't make down the mile more than a couple of times without something blowing up. 1600 is brutal.

there's no doubt that the tranny is now considers a consumable part, but that's not different the the lpe twin turbo zr-1's. i've heard they eat tranny's too, at half the power output.

There were only 4 TT ZR-1's ever made by LPE. Three 368 TT and Will Barretts 385 TT. And those guys hardly ever drive them. And that's probably why I have never heard of them having a meltdown. Its hard to test their durability when they're never driven.

Also I think Will is interested in going with me to the Texas mile next year. I hope that means he's gonna run the LPE TT 385. He told me his LPE 415 aero body ran 184 at the Texas mile. And I'll bet the TT does 200+ in the mile.

When I was at his house back when I machined the plenum spacers for his 415 he showed me the dyno sheet. It did 562rwhp. The TT is 750+. I asked him which one he likes better. He said the 415. He can have fun in that. He said the TT is way to fast. It will light the tires up at 100mph. For those who haven't seen Wills 415 aero body check it out. We met up at coffee and cars. The pics are on the last few pages of the album. http://www.tonygphotography.net/Cars/Coffee-and-Cars/June-5th-2010/12439770_6qA5U#890697948_KWxuv

It is bad to the bone in every way. He's a true ZR-1 guy to. To have the 415 and the LPE TT is just double awesome. Im dieing to see what the TT will do in the Texas mile.

Will took me for a ride in the TT back in 2009. That thing will PULL! My first ride in a ZR-1. Doesn't get much better than that.

Back in 2007 at Coreys I remember him talking about LPE building the TT for him but LPE was in litigation over that car with the guy that had them start work on it. I never inquired about the details of the litigation because I had just met Will and figured it was none of my business. If it wasn't for the the turn of events that took place that car would be in Europe (Austria ).
