Anybody in the NW who might be looking for a nice Z? How do I know? It used to be mine! I've got all the maintance and up grade records to the car. I didn't turn them over to the dealer when I traded it. Those clowns would have sh*t canned them.
Here's the link.

Thanks guys for the compliments. The GS is a very different car than the Z. I hope who ever buys her will appreciate and take care of it like I did.

I'm sure a few of us are curious!
What path of events leads one to trading a fairly desireable Z?
Yellow, 94, fairly low miles I would think has a pretty good market to go private. I don't recall seeing it for sale here but maybe it was and you just needed to move on to your next awesome ride.
I ask from the standpoint I can't imagine sitting across the table at a car dealer hearing how little your car is worth after 17 years yadda yadda yadda. Perphaps you found the right dealer to get you close enough but in the end similar to some auction sales after commision it always seems that priced right someone would still come out ahead marketing privately.

I have forgotten what was done to your Z.. My second favorite color combo.
Can you say or pm me.
Thanks Kevin

FYI...Autocheck shows an accident, right side, Nov 2005 in N.C. with a previous owner.

Wow... Carfax does not show that. Then again Carfax shows my old 92 as a clean title, it was totaled.

You could sell a regular C4 much more easily than a ZR-1. I have also found that the last 3 cars I sold went to buyers (on average) about 400 miles away leading me to believe that there is no money in my county.
Plus the c6 is such a good car

Hey Guys,
I had to sell the car for very personal reasons. I bought it in 2007 and it was the previous owner who had the accident. Eventho the car showed no signs of any damage whasoever, it did hurt its' resale value. That is a fact of life. I didn't know about the accident untill I went to trade it in and dlr did a check. I failed to do a Carfax when I bought it and that was my fault. We all learn out our own pace. That said, it still turned out to be a great car, still is and will be for the next buyer.

But it's interesting to note that apparently Carfax doesn't show the accident while the cheaper solution, Autocheck, does. So you wouldn't have found out if you had used Carfax. BTW, the car is beautiful and it's very nice that you're offering the records to the next owner. :icon_thum

I left a "note" in the back of the owners manual where he could contact me. I hope the new buyer will eventually find it. If the he finds his way here, I hope someone puts them in touch with me. :handshak:

On my car both Carfax and Autocheck show no accidents but I contacted the original owner and he told me that the second owner had a wreck with the car. I wasn't able to track him down so I don't know how bad it was but there is no sign of damage anywhere on the car. Makes you wonder.
