Here's the deal:
I'm charging on with the consruction of my ECM test bench. After reading everything that I could get my hands on and measuring my crank and DS exhaust cam, I think that I am close to reconstructing the signals that the ECM receives from the ignition module and cam sensor. My biggest issue right now is I'm not 100% certain of the synchronization between the ref hi and cam signals. I think that I'm pretty close, though.
What I'm wanting to know is if anyone has an oscilloscope and would be willing to scope out the ref hi and cam signals (possibly the crank sensor signal as well, but I don't think that will be necessary).
I have a four channel scope, but don't have a running ZR-1 to hook it up to.

You might want to look for a DIS checker(OTC 3575). It simulates a running engine and you can look at the plug output on a scope to see if it matches what is in the manual.

Thanks for the offer, however these signals need to be scoped. The info that I need is not available in the data stream, so I don't think a datalog would help. Your willingness to help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of the OTC tool. I already have the hardware to generate the signals and have set it up to generate the proper REF HI and CMP signals. At this point, I only need to get the synchronization correct between the two. I'm using a JimStim simulator and it allows me to adjust RPM under software control, so along with the digital and analog I/O modules that I'm using I will be able to operate the test bench via a PC-controlled graphical dashboard type interface. In addition to static testing, I'm also incorporating the ability to load and replay datalogs. It'll be cool to watch the ECM go through the 1/4 mile on the bench!

Lots of good info there, from the LT5 Fuel & Emissions Guide. I had already scoured through that and every other pub that I've got, but unless I missed it, nothing that I have shows the phasing between the REF HI and CMP signals.
