Yea the pressure wave it built up in front of it punched right thru that tree!
That is a cool picture! Thanks for sharing.
I have to ask, did you get the tape measure out first?
I did Tom, Saturday. Their website listed the tunnel being 6 feet wide, The "KING" is 5'10" at the mirrors.

Cool pics, Went to Yosemite in the late 90"s and it was amazing. I tell everybody
go there first and you won"t want to go anywhere else...jimmy
This tree is not in Yosemite, it is up north in the town of Leggett about 175 miles north of San Francisco on Hwy 101. A beautiful ride into the Redwood trees. I believe it is the only remaining drive through tree.

Thanks for clearing that up, when I went to Yosemite in Aug of 98 the tree that
they were driving through had just fallen down about a month before we got
there. But I did get to climb on it. Still one of the greatest places to see..
..jimmy
No argument on that Jimmy, Yosemite is a very unique place. My Mom and Dad had pictures of Yosemite from the 1930s, it was a very different place then.
