Congrats.
And good thing they didn't drop the requirements from last time too. Seems like they keep dropping the figures every time i go in for the test.

If you plan on registering that car in the sate of Ca you might want to make sure those headers have a C.A.R.B number. As far as I know nobody is selling headers that are legal in Ca.

When having the car smogged are you utilizing the valet or full power mode?

^^^ They run the car pretty slowly during the run, but I test using the stock chip.

I am the third owner of my car and have never seen the 1 - 4 shift displayed so I expect there is a modified chip installed.
Where is the chip and how do I really determine if it is stock?
Also if needed is a stock chip readily available?

When I put my stock chip in thats what I got. Annoying as hell. LOL.
The Prom inside the ECM should have AYBK, AUAH, ANHX..... If its stock.
I've used a ZIF socket on the MEMCAL so I can change out the chip when needed. I had JR burn me a chip with the latest stock bin.

You can find them on Ebay or on here running ~$200 to $400. When they come up....
Did you check the code on your chip?

Not yet, traveling this week. When I unhook the cables to drop the box should I have the battery disconnected?

Unhook the cables? It take about 2 minutes to gain access to the chip.Disconnect the battery, remove the 2 10MM nuts on the left side of the ECM,lift the ECM out of the bracket, flip the ECM over and you will see 4 7MM bolts holding a small panel in place. The battery is the only thing you need to disconnect.
