Need help with Dana/Spicer 4.10 gears

been doing some looking for a gearset

I have the MOPAR # P5007043

but I also have a Dana # which shows as

D44HD-410-OE

the difference is the Dana PN states it has an Aluminum Center. on one site it states compatibility with 85-96 another states 94-94. Do I want this one or do I want the MOPAR one?

Has anyone Cross referenced the MOPAR PN to a Dana Spicer #?

I haven't looked at the Dana one lately but I thought I read a thread a while ago (can't find it now) that said the MOPAR gears are being make in China now. Haven't heard of anyone that has purchased them recently.

A couple of years when Aaron Scott did some work on mine I mentioned Viper 4:10 gears and he said don't, they were now made in China.

Yeah so it sounds

options:

Yukon Gears.. Rumor is they are made in China now, might be USa though

Nitro gears.. Made in Korea per a place I calle dthat sells them

Dana OE.. Made in ??? have not been able to find that info yet
