I pulled my plenum yesterday and while carefully removing the connectors off of the fuel injectors, I noticed I am missing one of those square gaskets that fit up in the connector for the fuel injector. Can you still get those from GM?

Not sure but if not Marc Haibeck might be able to hook you up

I'll check with him, I have to send him some parts anyway. I checked Jerry's site, didn't see any. It seems like a common part that may still be used in modern cars, GM may still carry them.

I lost 2 of them during my plenum pull. I made new ones with gasketing material of the same thickness. Been in there for a couple of years now and no problems. Total cost around $1........use an existing one for the pattern...............

You can just swing by the pull-it-yourself wrecking yard and get those same rubber seals out of any bosch style injector plug- just about most of the 90's f.i. out there. 4 cyl, V6, V8.

Cool, that's kind of what i thought. I don't think injector connectors have changed a whole lot over the years. I'll take one with me to be sure.

Or you could order a new plug from Rockauto for a a little over 6 bucks. I would think the gasket would be in a new one. It may not be a bad idea to have a few of these in the spare parts bin anyways

I think I've been running without a few of those, I don't think it's likely to be a big deal unless the motor is being washed or otherwise gets very wet.
Sh*t come over here and I'll give you one.
