Just saw Eric is back from a previous thread about his family.

Well, I am pretty sure I just saw him buy a Yellow 57 Chevy 2 door post there. Wonder how many more cars he'll end up with...maybe a 1994 blue /red ZR-1!!!

I thought they were being sold as a pair?.....the results site shows $110k for the 94, and $66k for the 2009.....??? Sounds like they were broken up?

They sold as a pair for 160K before buyers premiums. I anticipated the commercial break and was watching the live stream on the computer.

I agree, he would have done better in the public market, when you calculate the total cost of the week(hotel, dinner, transport, & ho's :o).

At $160k I would say he did very well given the pricing in the previous post. Still, the '94 is a 1 of 1 and I hope it went to a good home.

yes, @ $160 he did good. I thought it was only $110

Not so good on the ZR1 (market value? after all it's just a used car at this point) but a home run on the ZR-1!

I have a different take on the prices. I'm guessing $66,000 for the 2009 (includes a 10% buyers commission), $110,000 total for both, meaning the '91 brought $40000 plus $4000 commission. Does that make any sense? Also, has BJ or Mecum ever broadcast the auction of a ZR-1? I've never seen one.

OK, I'm confused (that happens often)... did the cars sell separately, together or what? And for how much? $66k $110k $160k $176k???
The B&K website isn't very clear on the matter...

The cars sold as a pair for 160K before buyers premium. 176K total. I think the BJ site has the result listed wrong. They may have switched the prices of each one with the other one.

There's a 94 ZR-1 with 3k miles coming up at Mecum/Kissimmee Jan 24-29th......broadcast live on Discovery's Velocity.....remains to be seen if it gets cut by commercial interuption....

I think they went for $160,000.00 together.

Hey! Did you know that the Ford F-150 was voted Motor Trend truck of the year..? That was engrained into my head after 56th commercial!!

$160K plus 10% buyer premium is correct. I learned my lesson from last year where you want to watch the Live stream on the web also, so you don't miss the sale during those very frequent commercials. I know others here posted the same thing. The way they apportioned the $176K is something maybe an accountant could explain. It happened on a lot of cars that were sold as pairs. Soon, I'll post some pics of the cars when they were on display before the sale. Pics can't do the '94 justice though. Gotta love the sole red guts.
