I can NOT believe I drove this car for a year with a cracked lid. This was even a better repair than rebuilding my FX3 shocks.
Everybody knows the C4 is no good with the top removed, but a little lens crack or separation from the frame makes the car flex quite a bit. The road feel is so direct now. It also looks better now too.

has better weather stripping than my other top and the trim was installed real well. I got tired of looking for a cheap top and just bit the bullet ($640), but I'm pleased so far.

^^^ that's it. I called for the price, but they answer the phone and return messages so its not a problem.
I originally inquired about getting just a new lens and adhesive kit for $200, but they recently discontinued that option most likely from a low rate of success from DIY'ers.

Not sure... The same guy answered the phone a couple of months ago when I was asking what I could get to fix my top.
Even if I could have tried to repair mine, I doubt it would have come out perfect the first time. The fact that the car drives better is a big plus I wasn't expecting-The purchase motivation was mostly cosmetic. Should have figured that with the noise my old one was making, that it would be flimsy.
The stiffness is in the lens covering, not so much the frame. BTW, i should have taken a picture of my hair right after I pulled the plastic sheet off of it- that thing had a serious static charge.

it was $640 + shipping to your zip + $150 core charge. shipping two ways definitely eats up the core charge refund.
I had a chance to buy a new top in a box for $300 about a year and a half ago, but I had a c4 with a regular painted top back then, didn't know I was going to need one, but like I said, I didn't even know how bad I needed a top. I just got so tired of waiting for a deal and looking at the ugly busted one I had.
