The display is missing one or more segments (http://www.batee.com/corvette/dcrg/repair.htm)
(but not all of them)

Stopping the engine, it works correctly again.
They vary the segments of anyone way.

The solution could be removing and cleaning the contacts ?

Is there some page web with pictures of as making it?

see your other thread about this. I left a web page, well sort of, to go look at for what you are having happen to your display.
