My understanding was you couldn't order a ZR-1 and not have both power driver / passenger seats.
Question:
Could you order a ZR-1 with a "manual" passenger seat?
I've never seen or heard of one until today!

Could it have broken and was converted to manual?

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the power passenger seat became optional for the 1992 model year...

92 only?

92 only?
Well, if it's true, then it could also be true for 93, but since the 94-95 had the revised seating controls that made it impossible to have only a power driver's seat (unless it was a base seat and not Sport seats), I can't imagine a passenger power seat being optional in 94+, unless it involved the deletion of sport seats altogether.

Would be interesting to decode the VIN and see what the RPO seat code is.

For what it's worth...
Per the "Corvette Black Book", for '90 to '94. AC1 power passenger seat & AC3 power driver seat were part of the ZR1 option. Changed to AG1 & AG3 for '95 AQ9 was leather sport seats, '90 to '95, also part of the ZR1 option

Thanks! That was my "understanding", but can't remember how I got to know it.
This car looks like it was made that way, unless there was a defective seat and the local dealership swapped it out? (controler and all?)
Thank Doug!

There was a problem at Gm with the power mechanism at some point during the 92 run and cars were built without a power passenger seat.
This is fact as I witnessed it, I was at Bud's in Ohio and saw new ZR1s with manual pass seats. I just don't remember all the particulars as this was 19-20 years ago! Gordon k could most likely answer this better than I can, George

I saw number 501 and it had a non power passenger seat in it. So it had to be toward the end of the 92 run. I'm like George it's been a few years so my memory is not the best. Dennis

So I guess its factory original---keep it! that's sort of Z06-ish or 1LT base trim-like on the C6's with no power passenger seat.

Is the manual seat full-manual, or does it have inflatable sport seat functions but just on a manual fore/aft track?

That's it... #501 and it has inflatable sport seat functions.
Gotta see the build sheet!
