I'm planning a trip next year to either the Gathering in BG or Corvettes at Carlisle. Can't do both. I've been to BG for a homecoming event and visited Carlisle a number of times before so I'm familiar with both locations (although it's been many years and never with a ZR-1!)

Of the two, which would you recommend?

If you just want to have a great time in a smaller setting WITH all the ZR-1 boys, BG is the place to do it. It's a great ZR-1 experience. Pete's cooking and Bob's TajMahal of big riggs is hard to beat!

If you want the ultimate in cars and parts, Carlisle is the best for that experience.

My annual schedule is the following:
January - Kissimmee, FL NCRS Regional
May - BG ZR-1 fun
June - Bloomington Gold (most years)
August - Carlisle
September - Labor Day Auctions at Auburn, IN

It makes for a fun but expensive schedule. :cheers:

Are we going to get a block of rooms at a specific hotel? These dates are Thursday thru Saturday. This Holiday Inn is 92.00 a night. I am sure if we get 20 to 30 rooms I can get the rate reduced.

we were the most jumping tent but it's fallen off from what I was used to in the 99-03 years but that doesn't make it bad. we had a great group of people there to help out and bs with. very awesome.
