Not sure of anything except I'd go see it if I was close.

That looks like Joe Thomas' old car. Maybe he'll chime in and confirm?

It is Joe's old car, no question about it. If anyone is interested, PM JThomas and he'll verify and probably give you his phone number.

Yes that is my old car, VIN #0068. I still have my file folder of receipts for the repairs/parts I bought over the last three years. Car was originally from California and I believe I was the fourth or fifth owner. I put 12,000 miles on it in three years.
Any questions, let me know.

It just kills me that every used car joint always Armor-Alls the engine bay.

My old car has now been replaced with a 1995 Bright Aqua ZR-1 #152! Just arrived at my house about two hours ago. I'm just a wee bit excited!
Merry Christmas, eleven days early. :dancing

So what was the secret behind the option code?

So what was the secret behind the option code?
I contacted Hib Halverson and he reached out to a friend of his who advised that "1AA" is a fleet order code. The documentation shows the car was build to the GM Region Office in California that handles the press cars. The invoice shows it was delivered to the proving grounds in Arizona.
Hib explains that is typical to have the cars delivered there so GM execs and others can drive them and "workout" any bugs before the press gets ahold of them.
The paperwork that came with the car shows GM put roughly 10,000 miles on the car then sold it to a dealer in California in 1996. It was stored in a private collection. Then went to a second dealer in Wisconsin. Still never titled, and only an additional 2,000 miles put on the car.
The guy I bought it from purchased it at Barrett Jackson in January of last year. He only put 100 miles on the car. The odometer reads 12,148 miles today as it sits in my garage and looks every bit of it!
That's the short story.

This car was paired with a 2010 Jet Stream Blue ZR1. He paid 150,000 for the pair including fees. The seller provided a picture from B-J where the two cars are going across the block.

Now I remember talking to the seller but I never did figure the relation to the 2 cars other than they were both ZR-1s, the colors are close but not the same, the vins were not the same etc
I did bid on these but was very fast outbidded
As Jay Leno says, he is the president of the more $ than brains club, and there are alot of those club members at B-J annualy
Enjoy, looks like you bought it right

Yes, I think I did buy it right. I had to, because I am NOT a member of the "More $ than brains club".
