The C6 hit his brakes and became a target- should kept going forward :(
What's the matter with silver?

What's the matter with silver? Silver reminds me of an overcast day. I prefer bright vivid colors. Just my preference.

ASR off ? Why do so many C6s and C5s do this? Driver mod?

if someone can't handle a base c6 without traction control off, sell it and buy a damned honda. I'm getting so sick of this OMG NO TRACTION CONTROL! ********. TC is probably the reason these idiots can't control their cars. None of my cars have TC/ASR/AH/PDM/PMS/DCH/DDS/AMA/RTD/DDT ********, if a person can't handle...what high 300 rwp you shouldn't buy something that produces it. Hell I put out more power then that base c5 and i've never had an issue and I don't baby my car!
where'd I put that rum

C5 on the 1-2 shift looks like
I bet he had it in this mode:
Competitive Driving = Traction Control Off, Active Handling On
Saw the SAME thing at the track.. C5 was totaled though

Do they need beam plates? Do they make beam plates? Oh, I know that's what the tunnel plate must do?
I don't quite get that. Bang 2nd and it just jumps sideways like that? Clutches hanging up in the diff? I didn't see any water in the C5's lane? Oil? Something.
All my crusin' buds have 5's & 6's....yea I'm the token C4!:p...and none of them are stock! I have never seen any of their cars do that....what's up with this situation???

To me the 1-2 shift causing the back end to break loose like that is generally a user error.
What i suspect happened is when he shifted from 1-2, he also jerked the steering wheel slightly and that causes the rear end to fish tail like that, other than of course the possibility of making 800 + rwhp.

or he had the active handling OFF all together

The funniest part was he knocked the C6 right up onto the island and into the trees. I lost control of my 90 like that once. But luckily there was nobody around and I didnt hit anything. After putting Bills beam plates in and poly bushings in if I loose traction it stays straight instead of fish tailing everywhere.

C5 Z06 will break the tires loose every time on the 1-2 shift with the trace control off. Dumb ***. I told my brother the same thing when he got his Z-06...leave that button alone on city streets. He ignored my advice and backed it into a tree. Morons.

I spin on the 1-2 shift also...never backed either of my c4's into anything because of that
