the right hand drive models never looked quite right. I guess because they are not a prefect mirror image.

It's definitely different. Neat to have just to have it, I guess. It'd sure be hard for me to get used to shifting left handed though.
Thanks for posting.

Seriously although one of our brothers in Australia has a 91 with the right hand drive. Seen a few pics of it before.

Not as bad as you would think. It took about 30 minutes and it was no big deal after that. I got to where I prefer the left handed shifting I am right handed and I was able to keep my right hand on the wheel. Maybe it's just me LOL

Was the shift pattern the same as LHD or was it flipped over as well for RHD?

The shift patterns are the same for all cars left or right hook configuration. Only the turn signal/wiper controls are mirror imaged. loud pedal is always on the right too.
Story i heard,
This was a LH drive car owner wanted RH drive, they never made RH drive ZR-1's took it to a company down under that turns cars from LH to RH drive.

I found it the same coming the other way - left-hand shifting in England to right in Canada. About 30 minutes and you don't even notice it.

Was the same for me when I stationed in the UK. After just a few minutes shifting left-handed felt natural - but actually driving on the left side of the road took a bit more time to get used to.

Yep, I kept drifting over to the right. But You gatta love those roundabouts! I don't know how my poor car survived! I was squalling tires every time and if it was raining i was sliding. Also remember to keep to the left when exiting the roundabout... Ask me how I know LOL
