Another question.....if you have the dual roof option do you need to bring both roofs for judging?

An OEM replacement windshield like a (non-ZR) would get a 50% deduction, I believe on originality points as a service relacement. Then you've got date codes and the like to deal with. You would get all the condition points. An original windshield that has delamination would get all the originality points, but would get deduted for condition. Unless it was considered dangerous you would be better staying with the original. If you have a judging manual ity goes through the standard points deductions

delamination will get you a deduction on condition. the replacement will get you a deduction on originality, date stamps, blah blah blah
yes you need to bring both roofs and everything else that came with the car

you will also need to get rid of the radar detector, the thing in the cup holder and the key switch in the console

Yeah, I figured that....I'll pick up the NCRS lit on the subject....may consider having the car judged before replacing the original tires.

For the 1990-91 MY, NCRS uses 26 points for originality and 24 points for condition. Assuming your MY has similar points (I can check for you if needed).
If you kept the original windshield I would give you the 26 originality points and depending on the amount of area of delamination would prorate the 24 points.
As far as a service replacement I am not sure there is a standard deduction for a proper service replacement windsield for a ZR1, so I would need to check.
In my opinion unless the delamination effects the entire windshield and you can not see throught it causing a dangerous condition I would have it judged as is.
My $0.02
BTW: Tom Barr is the NCRS national team leader for our cars and would be able to provide better clarification on this issue and others.

it should be noted the standard c4 windshield is not the correct replacement

This car has a replacement windshield from original owner due to bad delamination.....it now has a PPG Sunshade Solargreen Duplate....Is that considered the correct replacement?...

Kevin,
I agree a standard C-4 windshield would loose points on configuration and at least date, possibly more.
Thanks for posting this.

Original is always better. Since most do delaminate the Judges are easy on the deductions for it.
