Today one of the cars and coffee regulars had a cook out at his place and since my zr-1 is still under the weather (injectors) and ready for storage I decided to take my mustang. I've only taken the zr-1 to the meets a few times this year but apparently that's enough to get some people interested in it. I had three or four people ask me where it was and they seemed sad when i told them it was having injector issues and wouldn't be on the road again till spring.

As we gathered on the porch....where we all ended up when the blue murcielago pulled in the conversation some how ended up back on my zr-1 and the topic of mods came up. I was informed that it's quite easy to make these cars run 10's and that there were tons of bolt ons...I have a strong feeling that the kid was talking about the zr1 not the zr-1, but either way it's fun to have people ask about where my 21 year old car was at when the drive way was full of lotus, 911, ferrari testa rossa's, and gtr's.

That's great that there is respect for our cars. BTW..what is this ''ready for storage '' thing??? Must be a back east thing. :p

Nope, not a back east thing. Mine is sitting in the back yard ready and as soon as i get cleaned up a little i`m going out and try to pick a flower from the garden of females.
