I would guess C=cold, H=hot, since I can't imagine what other abbreviations would fit in this case. Fan switch seems like a reasonable guess...

one of the big parts houses used to/still does sell a switch you can raise and lower the antenna at will

You may be right. Behind the glove box you can interupt and splice the pink wire to install a bypass switch. One of those wires in the second picture is pink.

There seems to be to many wires for a simple antenna control. The C & H would seem to imply maybe C-current, H-history for maybe CCM or ECM codes. Could it maybe be wired to the ALDL/DIC to display codes easily on maybe an OBD1 scanner type display or maybe bypass the DIC and display directly to the cluster?
That would seem to be considerable effort for information not generally required frequently. I'd likely have to remove the glove box and see where the harness/pigtail might lead.
It's certainly "conversational"!! I'd be asking the PO!
What does it do with just KEY-ON? NOT THE POWER-KEY just ignition!

I ACTUALLY "REALLY" expect that if the switch is "MOMENTARY" in either direction it controls the temp up or down and the up/down function of the AC control doesn't work! If it's actually a 3 position switch, I've NOT the slightest idea!

Yeah that would be my best guess
