Any ideas why a brand new ZR1 with 318 miles and a clear no wreack title would be at an auto auction??

Is it an MSO car? (never titled) What year?

Color exterior / interior?

Are you thinking about buying it?

It's a white 1991 zr1 #00517..it actually shows
At an auction before it was titled!

The correct description is white 1991 ZR-1..............always you the dash!!!

This wont be the last time you will see one of these with this type of mileage,quite a few with even lower miles than that.

Allright so,..The dealer get this Corvette ZR-1,..Has it custom painted, and then takes it to an auction??...the car wasn't registered till after the auction.

are you the first registered owner? it's possible it was sold to someone who never registered it...but why you'd paint it if you did that is beyond me.

No I am not the original owner,..I am a purist but I do like the stripe,..although I may not have got it,..but!...

I just don't see the benefits in receiving a car and then sending it to auction.

depending on the market at the time, it could have brought more at auction then on the show room floor. I realize you're not the original owner but I didn't know if you may have been the first registered owner, if that makes sense.

If I am reading this right, '91 ZR-1 #517 is not a new car. I show it as being sold on Ebay on 9/9/09 for $11,000 with 102,000 miles on it. It also was just listed on Ebay in an auction ending 10/2/11 with 106,000 miles on it. Did I miss something? If so sorry for that.

That's correct!....You aren't missing anything, I show on the carfax that is was auctioned with 318 miles and it had not been titled yet... Do you know something I don't???

What site do you have it on. Include a link if you have it. I just keep track of the ZR-1's I see on the web. That's where I got my info from.
