The core of the FBI is going to be there! look for the cabana with the ZR-1 banner! Weather looks great (http://www.accuweather.com/us/in/morocco/47963/forecast-details.asp?fday=6)!

Last minute preparations; tweaking the tunes of some of the cars, putting on drag radials, etc, etc.... Looking like a good time. Sure hope some of you other East Central ZR-1 drivers can join the rest of the Registry group; the more the merrier! (See East Central page for details).

Looks like as many as 13 FBI'ers and friends are going to be there...Wow! A great showing! With this many Zs, I have no doubt we'll leave a lasting impression on that crowd; especially if we can manage to take the traveling trophy home with us this year! WooHoo!

C-link. (http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=15722)

You should plan to be there around 8AM to get registered and go through the safety inspection. Racing starts around 9AM till about noon or 1PM before the bracket racing phase. The awards are given at around 3:30ish It's $35 to race; $25 at the gate, and $10 at the registration booth. We'll register under the FBI club name, so be sure to let them know what our "club" is when you register.

This is going to be fun. Stay tuned for details as they develop!

How many ZR-1 owners are driving their Zs to the challenge, but not racing them?

Brett and Pete will spectate - cars not ready. Dom is suffering from bad karma at this track (wrecked his Z last year there). Consensus is it was a tire issue, combined with cold conditions. Everything is different this year, however, so it remains to be seen if Maverick will "reengage!"

Brett,

If you want a second project car, it's a possibility. I'll be over holding Pete's Pom Poms and Gyro.

Lee,

I'll be posting some vids and pics later. We hoisted the Club Trophy as overall winners. Kevin won for Best ET and something else. Bob G posted a 10.9@134mph. Not a misprint! The final 3 were Kevin, Bob, and Al for our side. Kevin went to last round of bracket racing and lost to a 13sec dial.
