Just recieved my AFS wheels. I am disapointed in them because the rears are not dished out around lug nuts. The old wheels that are damaged are old afs wheels. They are dished out like oe wheels. The guy at AFS said they have not made that wheel for about 8 years. Does anyone no where I can get orginal looking rear wheels? I would really like to have OE looking zr-1 wheels.
Any help would be appreciated.

You could have bought a whole set from Pete just days ago. That is correct AFS has not made the true 36MM offset for many years. Nobody currently does. Everything available now is NOS or secondary market.

Ya that's what I'm looking for preferably in black with polished lip.
That slight difference makes them look so much better.

Lee (LGAFF) had a set of old style AFS wheels for sale not long ago with the deep recessed lug area rears.

They were only produced in a 50mm offset in black for the GS Cars. AFS May have made them but you might have more luck getting them PCed reguardless of color

Thanks for the help I decided to use the ones that I have for now. They only cost me about $250 for the rears. So I can change them down the road. If someone comes across a black set of rear I would still be interested. Or if some one comes across a single rear in gray I would also take it because I still have a single silver good rear .I'm new to this forum but It seems that everybody is very helpful and this forum is a good source of info.I have attached a few pictures of my project so you can see what I'm working on.

Post a snapshot of the back-side of the damaged wheel and the face of it also. Post the casting information also from the back-side. You might as well be looking for an "exact" match as just "any wheel"!
