Ignition lock cylinder and rebuilding wobbly column

My Ignition lock cylinder quit working so I am going to tear into the column to replace it.

I know that I have seen a post for repairing a wobbly steering column by adding bushings...

If anyone has any advice or information on either I would be forever grateful if you will share that with me!
